Forgot to mention: been on THCv for months, now. The process is slower, but I'm hoping I'm on the right track. 2 A1Cs of 6.2 (I found out my original A1C was 11.0. Yikes) and things seem to be getting even better, from a lack of symptoms. We'll see. I'm hoping BWP will be providing THCv concentrate in some form, some day.

From consuming around 1000mg of this stuff for months, with my fasting glucose falling fro 7.4 to 5.4 in TWO DAYS (I took daily fasting readings) and while observing the reactions of those readings to various form of adversity, over the months, I developed what I refer to as the Four Rules of CBG: 1) CBG is known as the Mother of Cannabinoids. There are over 100 cannabinoids remaining to be investigated in this plant. The ones that we know about are proving to have definite health value. And each seems to "target" healing in a specific area of our physiology.* Assuming then, that the "children" of CBG each heal different parts of our bodies, it might be reasonable to assume that CBG heals (maintains homeostasis in) all parts of the body, assuming they are "in range" of the ECS (endocannabinoid system). 2) Assuming CBG "heals" any and every pain, damage, sickness or disease, there must be a maximum dose, above which no amount of CBG is active. A dosage "ceiling". Otherwise, you might ingest a kilo of the stuff and burn out your entire ECS, as it heals every headache, hangnail, blood sugar imbalance or cancer you might have. As it turns out, mouse studies have shown exactly that: a maximum dose. A "ceiling". 3) Assuming a limited amount of resources then, CBG heals on a priority basis. The worst health problems in the moment are the purview of CBG. When I started CBG, I was concerned about my blood pressure. The fact that my daily fasting glucose reading went from an average of 7.4 to 5.4...in two days, and stayed there for months, proved to me that my BP was not a really pressing issue. This was further borne out when I fell 20ft down the stairs. As I lay in bed that night, contemplating yet another taxi ride to the emergency ward at the General, I fell asleep with this thought: my fasting will be over 7 tomorrow morning. It had been steady at around 5.2, then. Next morning the reading was 7.6. CBG had redirected its healing focus to the damage that fall had inflicted on me. I was walking in 3 days. Glucose returned to normal by then. 4) Once CBG has stabilized whatever health crisis for which it was originally intended, it's then time to "hand off" to one of its "children". In the case of type-2 diabetes, that means THCV. The metaphor is simple & clear: CBG is the emergency unit and doctor. Whatever health crisis in the moment is its responsibility. CBG contains a "suite" of antimicrobial properties which, aside from its engagement with the ECS, make it a perfect "emergency" therapy. THCV therefore, becomes the "specialist". THCV specializes in lowering fasting glucose, increasing insulin sensitivity (CBG does as well, apparently) and managing diabetes. *We all know that cannabinoids both "fuel" and "target" the ECS in a way that maintains homeostasis. Going through all that, every time we talk about it, discourages any conversation of the subject IMO. After all. Nobody does handsprings explaining the mechanisms by which heart pills work. For instance. So Let's just agree that cannabinoids "heal" (assuming they do) and leave it at that.
