First time trying the Panama Red strain.
That's a solid one and I highly recommend it.
I got this one early June when the stock on flowers were low.
Usually I go for AAA+ and above, but I've been gladly surprised by the quality again.
So like usual from BWP, the pictures and description was on point.
Beautiful bright green nugs with a lot of bright orange hairs.
Dense and medium-large to large sized (up to ~3.5g each), nicely cured and coated with trichomes.
A few were fluffy and less well trimmed, but nothing crazy for AAA at that price.
Really good smell. Earthy, woody, citrus, tangy and spicy with little hint of leather notes, but not like a puer tea.
At first I would have given it a 7-8 when I opened the bag, but after a week it went to a solid 9 on the aromas.
The taste was a mix of skunky, spicy and woody herbals on the dry hit.
Same when smoked, but with more sweetness and a "tropical" taste.
The smoke is smooth and the ash is a nice light gray.
The buzz is mostly a head one with a good mellow body high too.
Seems pretty potent. It was rated at 26.6% thc and I would give it a Mid or High 20s myself.
i tried this strain so many years ago and it kicked my ass and my brothers ass(we still bring it up time to time) i foundthisstuff not as memorable but still in my top 3 shatters ive got from BWP, highly recommended, smooth toking followed by an armhair raising buzz.. feels good!
i got an ounce of this like i do everytime i see it..good lineage, tight nugs no matter how moist or dry it gets, potent sativa buzz that is nice at anytime of the day
